In addition, it is located completely outside WEDOS datacenters in another city of the Czech Republic. You will not lose your data even in the event of hardware failure or a natural disaster. How Does It All Work?
Snaphot Creation
From the 2nd level of data protection, we also create live data snapshots, i.e. disk images. In the event of a problem with the disks, we have a second copy of live data available, as well as snapshots in geographically separated data centers in case of natural disasters or cyber attacks.
We keep snapshots for one full month. Thanks to them, you can no longer lose your sensitive data.
For a period of 24 hours, we take a snapshot of the current state of the data every 4 hours. So a total of 6 snapshots per day.
Subsequently, a snapshot of this data is taken once a day for a whole week. So a total of 7 snapshots per week.
Furthermore, 1 snapshot is taken of this data every week. So a total of 4 snapshots per month. This is also the total amount of time we protect older data for.

The service is operated on branded 3PAR servers from Hewlett Packard Enterprise, which are developed by HPE specialists directly tailored to the needs of WEDOS.
It is a professional AllFlash (100% SSD) storage that has full redundancy of components and is capable of all the advanced functions you expect from modern storage designed for data centers.
Our goal was to offer customers such a frequency of backups, deployment and security that we could meet all the standards that even the most demanding of them might require. We managed to do that in cooperation with HPE.
