Data and Database Migration
To transfer a website, you need to know the FTP server, FTP account login, an FTP account password, and other information (if you do not know this information, contact your provider to get it).
- Step 1 - Order a web hosting service using the order form so we know where to migrate your data (or database).
- Step 2 - Create a data and database migration request in the customer administration. In the web hosting detail in the left menu of the customer administration. Video Tutorial »
- Step 3 - Wait until the migration is complete. You will be notified by email when the migration is complete, so please wait. Migration can take tens of minutes, depending on the workload.
- Step 4 - Final DNS change. After checking that everything is migrated and functional, you can proceed to the final change of DNS servers or DNS records and the website will start working from WEDOS.
E-mail Migration Manual
To migrate your mailbox, you need to know your e-mail address, password, and IMAP server (if you don’t know this information, contact your ISP).
- Step 1 - Order a web hosting service using the order form to let us know where to migrate your emails.
